By Your Side was set up to be different from other care agencies, modelled around person centric care. Understanding each person and their circumstances are different, we provide the best care possible to each individual.
THE STORY OF BY YOUR SIDE
By Your Side was established in 2015 by Sarah Parkins who decided it was time to put the care back into the care industry. From Sarahs personal experience caring for her mother who passed away after living with a brain tumour and supporting her grandfather who lived with dementia.
Sarah had true insight into what it means t o be a carer and decided to use this and create a person-centric care agency, to which By Your Side was born.
During this time By Your Side has won numerous accolades for caring for people in t heir local community, and their reputation has resulted in their services being highly sought after.
Every person we care for and support from personal care to companionship has a unique care plan that suits the individual and their circumstances.
By Your Side is fully accredited by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) and our last inspection we were graded as ‘Outstanding’, this highest possible grading for a care company.

Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) is a membership body open to all independent care providers in Hertfordshire. The association is extremely dedicated to their mission of ‘sharing best practice in care through partnership’ and through a close relationship with the local authority and the NHS, they are able to act as a voice for care providers on adult social care issues. By Your Side is an active member of HCPA, and their managers and staff are affiliates of The Care Professional Academy (careprofessional.co.uk) which was founded and created by HCPA: It supports and rewards care staff for continuing their outstanding work in the care sector, and rewards them for developing their professional skills through regular training.
